FITWITHIM weight loss coaching is ongoing one-to-one coaching for men 35 to 50 who want to lose fat and keep it off. Imran sets a nutrition strategy that fits your routine, writes a strength program that protects your muscle, and reviews your progress every week, adjusting when things stall. It’s delivered through Weekly 1:1 Coaching (from $99 a week) or Monthly 1:1 Coaching ($499 a month), in person in Toronto or online across the GTA, with no fixed end date.
Who it’s for
Weight loss coaching suits you if:
- You’re a man in your late thirties to fifties carrying more weight than you’d like, especially around your middle.
- You’ve lost weight before and regained it, and want to do it differently this time.
- Your problem isn’t knowing what to eat but doing it consistently around work, family, travel and weekends.
- You want to lose fat without losing strength, and you’re willing to lift two or three times a week.
- You’d rather have ongoing coaching that adapts than a fixed program with a hard stop.
Why ongoing coaching instead of a fixed program
Fat loss has two phases: losing it and keeping it off. Fixed programs are good at the first; the second is where most men slip, because support ends just as the hard part begins. People who keep weight off over the long term tend to keep doing what got them there, such as regular activity, self-weighing and consistent eating on weekdays and weekends (Wing & Phelan, 2005).
Ongoing coaching covers both phases in one relationship. You work through the loss phase, move into maintenance when you’re ready, and step your support up or down as life changes. If you’d prefer a defined 12-week push with a fixed target, the 12-Week Body Transformation is the better fit.

How it works week to week
- Free consultation. Your goal, history, health, schedule and past attempts. You decide together whether coaching fits and at what level.
- Starting point. Bodyweight, waist and other measures, current training and a picture of how you eat on a normal weekday and weekend.
- Your plan. A strength program for your schedule and equipment, a nutrition strategy (targets, protein, practical rules for restaurants and drinks) and a daily step goal.
- Weekly check-in. You send your training log, several weigh-ins, food notes and anything coming up. Imran reviews the trend, not one day’s number.
- Adjustments. If the trend stalls for a couple of weeks, something changes: calories, steps, training or the hardest part of your week.
- Maintenance. Once you’re at a weight you’re happy with, food goes up gradually to a level that holds, and the focus shifts to keeping it.
Weekly tracking is the engine. In weight-loss research, self-monitoring of diet, exercise and weight has been consistently associated with greater weight loss (Burke et al., 2011). The coaching keeps it going long after most men would stop.
The pace to expect
Fat loss should be steady, not dramatic. A review of contest-preparation research recommended losing about 0.5% to 1% of bodyweight a week to retain muscle (Helms et al., 2014). Your weight will bounce day to day, so progress is judged on weekly averages, waist measurements and how your lifts are moving. No one can guarantee a number of kilograms by a date, and you won’t be promised one.

Not for you if
- You have a medical condition that needs nutrition therapy, such as kidney disease or diabetes managed with insulin. Start with your doctor and a Registered Dietitian; coaching can work alongside them later.
- You have a history of disordered eating. Speak to a health professional first.
- You want a fixed 12-week challenge with a finish line. The 12-Week Body Transformation is built for that.
- You want a plan to run entirely on your own. The self-guided Men’s Fat Loss Program ($99) on the DIY programs page is the lower-cost option.
- You’re looking for meal replacements, supplements or a crash diet. None are part of this coaching.
Getting started
Apply for coaching with a few details about your goal and schedule. Imran replies within one business day to book your free consultation, and you only pay once you’ve both agreed it’s the right fit. Questions people also ask
How is weight loss coaching different from the 12-Week Body Transformation?
The 12-Week Body Transformation is a fixed program with a defined start, finish and target. Weight loss coaching runs through FITWITHIM's ongoing options, Weekly or Monthly 1:1 Coaching, with no end date, so it covers the loss phase and the maintenance phase and adapts as your life changes.
How much does weight loss coaching cost?
It runs through Weekly 1:1 Coaching, from $99 a week depending on the level of support, or Monthly 1:1 Coaching at $499 a month. The consultation is free, and the level of support is agreed before you pay.
How much weight will I lose?
No honest coach can promise a number. A sensible pace for most men is roughly 0.5% to 1% of bodyweight a week. What you lose depends on your starting point, consistency, sleep and health. Progress is tracked weekly so the plan can change when it stalls.
Do I need to count calories?
Not necessarily. Some men like tracking; others do better with portion guides or a few fixed meals. The nutrition strategy is built around what you'll actually keep doing.
Can I do weight loss coaching online?
Yes. Coaching is available in person in Toronto, online across the GTA, or a mix. Online clients check in weekly with their training log, weigh-ins and food notes.
